Chỉ việc cố ý tô vẽ, làm đẹp bề ngoài một cách giả tạo để che đậy bản chất hoặc nhằm quyến rũ, lừa dối người khác. Thường dùng để phê phán sự hào nhoáng, màu mè thiếu chân thật.
